Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Medical Candidates: A postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh) in the respective discipline from a recognized University or Institute, or an equivalent qualification.
- For Non-Medical Candidates (Applicable only for Department of Anatomy, Biochemistry & Pharmacology):
- M.Sc. / M. Biotech Degree in the concerned subject; AND
- Ph.D. in the concerned or allied subject from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit Details
- The upper age limit is 45 years as of the last date of submitting the online application (06.09.2023).
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules and regulations.
- Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency will not be eligible.
Salary & Pay Scale
Candidates appointed to the post of Senior Resident will receive remuneration under Pay Level 11 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) as applicable.

- Pay the non-refundable application fee online.
- Candidates wishing to apply for multiple posts must submit separate application forms and fees for each post.
- Print the submitted online application form. Candidates are required to bring this printout along with original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies to the Recruitment Cell, AIIMS, Rishikesh- 249203 on the date of the interview.
