Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Assistant Professor: A Master’s degree with 55% marks in subjects like Demography, Population Studies, Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, Mathematics, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Anthropology, or Geography.
- Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar test like SLET/SET.
- Alternatively, candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC regulations (2009 or 2016) are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.
- Persons with a P.G. Degree in subjects other than Demography/Population Studies must have completed a minimum one-year regular course in Demography/Population Studies.

Age Limit Details

- Fill out the form and attach a detailed bio-data along with self-attested copies of all testimonials, certificates, and supporting documents.
- Pay the application fee through Online Payment to the Registrar, Andhra University, Account No. 10428603374, IFSC Code No. SBIN0000772, State Bank of India, AU Campus.
- Two copies of the completed application form, along with the fee payment challan, must be sent to: "The Registrar, Central Administrative Office, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530003".
- The application must be received on or before 25.11.2025 at 5:00 PM.
- The envelope must be superscribed with the name of the post and the advertisement number: AV(2)/PRC/61167/2025.
Application Fee
The application processing fee is as follows:
- OC: Rs. 1,000/-
- OBC, Minorities: Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 250/-
