Job Analysis

AI-generated insights

Best-Fit Profile

This role is ideal for individuals holding a Master's degree in Anthropology with specialization in Archaeological, Social, or Biological Anthropology, who have also qualified NET/CSIR/Ph.D or an equivalent test. Candidates seeking temporary academic engagement in a Central University setting and residing near Koraput, Odisha, would find this opportunity suitable.

Important Considerations

Candidates seeking permanent employment or long-term career stability should not apply, as this is a purely temporary, semester-based contractual position. Those expecting full allowances, pension, or gratuity benefits will also be disappointed, as these are not provided for Guest Faculty. Individuals not meeting the stringent academic qualifications (Master's + NET/Ph.D) are also ineligible.

Career Impact

The Central University of Odisha is a government institution established by an Act of Parliament, lending a degree of academic prestige to the role. While the engagement is temporary, it offers valuable experience in a central university environment, which can enhance an academic's CV for future permanent positions. However, it does not offer long-term career growth or job security within the institution itself.
