The associated 6th CPC Pay Band ranges from Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/-.

• Fill up the application in the prescribed format (Annexure ‘A’) on good quality A-4 size white paper after carefully reading the Employment Notice.
• All columns of the application should be filled up by the candidate in their own handwriting in English/Hindi using a blue/black ball point pen.
• Applicants should write in their own handwriting ‘the sample declaration statement’ in the space provided in the application form.
• Affix one recent (taken within one month) colour passport size photograph (without cap and/or coloured glass) revealing the full face WITH White background. Send two such photographs duly signed on the back with the application form and keep at least five for future use.
• Enclose a set of legible self-attested/Gazetted Officer attested photocopies of all Certificates in proof of Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, and Sports Achievements.
• Enclose the application fee as explained in the notification.
• Clearly indicate the Specific Category No., Sports Discipline and Event/Position as given in Para-2 on the application.
• Write “APPLICATION AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA (OPEN ADVERTISMENT& TALENT SCOUTING) RECRUITMENT FOR THE YEAR 2026-2027” on the top of the envelope containing the application.
• Send applications to the Chief Personnel Officer, Administrative Building, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, PO-Chittaranjan, District-Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal, Pin Code-713331, to reach on or before the closing date and time. Applications can also be dropped directly in the Drop Box at Dy.GM's Office/CLW.
• Serving Government Employees should send their applications through the proper channel.

The requisite examination fee should be deposited through IPO (Indian Postal Order)/Bank Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “PFA, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works” – payable at Chittaranjan.
