The pay scales for various posts are:

• Assistant Manager (Official Language / Information Technology): Rs 40,000 – 1,40,000 (IDA)
• Management Trainee (Marketing / Accounts): Rs 30,000 – 1,20,000 (IDA)
• Junior Commercial Executive / Junior Assistant (Accounts / General): Rs 22,000 – 90,000 (IDA)

The Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 120 Objective MCQ type questions, to be attempted in 120 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and 0.25 (1/4) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational qualification prescribed for each post.

• Unit-I: General English: Articles, Prepositions, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Synonyms, Jumbled Sentences.
• Unit-II: Reasoning: Syllogism, Coded Inequalities, Direction & Distance, Ordering & Ranking, Blood Relation, Data Interpretation, Coding & Decoding, Deductive Logic, Data Sufficiency, Series Compilation, Puzzles, Pattern Completion.
• Unit-III: Quantitative Aptitude: Ratio & Proportion, Time & Work, Speed & Distance, Percentages & Averages, Profit, Loss & Discount, Probability, Simple & Compound Interest.
• Unit-IV: General Knowledge: Indian Geography, Indian Trade & Economy, Current Affairs (World & India), Scientific Research, Awards, Sports, World Geography.
• Unit-V: Basic Knowledge of Computer Proficiency: Computer Fundamentals, Terminology, Components & Functions, Input/Output Devices, Software & Hardware, Networks & Communication, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Hardware Types, Peripherals, Keyboard Shortcuts, Abbreviations & Acronyms.

• Assistant Manager (Official Language): Covers various topics in Hindi language including Grammar, Hindi Sahitya ka Itihas, Official Language Policy, and comprehension.
• Assistant Manager (Information Technology): Detailed syllabus including Digital Logic, Computer Organization and Architecture, Programming and Data Structure (C language, ADTs, Trees, Heaps), Algorithms (Analysis, Design, Sorting, Searching), Theory of Computation, Compiler Design, Operating Systems, Databases (ER-model, SQL), Information Systems & Software Engineering, Computer Networks (OSI stack, LAN, Routing, Security), Web Technologies (HTML, XML).
• Management Trainee (Marketing): Extensive syllabus covering Agricultural & Food Policy, Finance, Marketing, Agribusiness Management, Market Research, International Agri-Food Trade, Value Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management, Public Policy, Sales & Distribution, and various aspects of the cotton value chain.
• Management Trainee (Accounts): Detailed syllabus covering Financial Accounting (Accounting Standards, Company Final Accounts), Cost Accounting (Concepts, Methods, Control), Taxation (Income Tax, GST), Advanced Accounting, Auditing & Assurance, Financial Management (Scope, Objectives, Tools, Capital Budgeting, Cost of Capital, Financing Decisions, Dividend Decisions, Working Capital Management, Corporate Restructuring), Financial Markets & Institutions (Money Market, Capital Market, Financial Services), Organisation Theory & Behaviour, Human Resources Management.
• Junior Commercial Executive: Subject knowledge includes Agricultural marketing, Trade & Practices, Farm Power & Machinery, Agricultural Entomology, Crop Pest & their Management, Agricultural Microbiology, Soil Microbiology, Principles of Agricultural Agronomy, Field Crops, Weed Management, Organic Farming, Dimension of Agricultural Farming, Cotton procurement, cotton area, production, yield and cotton scenario both domestic and international cotton.
• Junior Assistant (Accounts): Subject knowledge includes Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Taxation, Business Law, Auditing, Financial Management.
• Junior Assistant (General): Core subject knowledge is primarily covered under Unit V: Basic Knowledge of Computer Proficiency.
