Educational Qualification

  • Internal Audit Officer (Deputation only): Officers from Audit and Accounts Services in Central/State Govt. holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR with 3/5 years regular service in Level 11/10 in Audit and Accounts.
  • Assistant Librarian: Master's Degree in Library/Information/Documentation Science (55% marks), good academic record, knowledge of computerization, and NET/SLET/SET qualified OR Ph.D.
  • Assistant Registrar: Master's Degree (55% marks).
  • Security Officer: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years experience as Security Supervisor in Govt./Educational/Private Org. (annual turnover Rs. 200+ Crores) OR JCO level or equivalent in Army/Uniformed Service with 10th pass or Army Class I Exam. AND valid Driving License (LMV/Motor cycle).
  • Private Secretary: Bachelor's Degree with 3 years experience as Personal Assistant OR 5 years as Stenographer in University/Govt./PSU, English/Hindi Stenography speed 120/100 wpm, English/Hindi Typing speed 35/30 wpm, knowledge of computer applications.
  • Assistant Engineer (Civil): First Class Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years experience as Junior Engineer or equivalent in State Govt PWD/similar services (annual turnover Rs. 200+ Crores).
  • Estate Officer: Second class Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years experience in construction and maintenance.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical): Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology with 1 year relevant experience OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Technology with 3 years relevant experience in CPWD/State PWD/similar services (annual turnover Rs.200+ Crores).
  • Nurse: B.Sc.(Nursing), Registered as Nurse with Indian Nursing Council, with 2 years experience in a reputed hospital.
  • Professional Assistant: Master's Degree in Library & Information Science with 1 year experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Library/Information Science with 3 years experience, with knowledge of computer applications.
  • Technical Assistant: Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Life/Environmental/Physical Sciences with 3 years experience in a related laboratory.
  • Technical Assistant (Computer): Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering/Technology OR Master's Degree in Computer Science/Technology/MCA.
  • Lower Division Clerk: Bachelor's Degree, English Typing @ 35 wpm OR Hindi Typing @ 30 wpm, proficiency in Computer Operations.
  • Hindi Typist: Bachelor's Degree, 30 words per minute in Hindi Typing Speed, knowledge of Computer Applications.
  • Driver: 10th Pass, Valid Commercial Driving License (LMV/Medium/Heavy), knowledge of motor mechanism, 3 years experience in driving.
  • Library Attendant: 10+2 or equivalent, Certificate course in Library Science, one-year experience in a University/College/Educational Institution Library, basic knowledge of computer applications.
  • Laboratory Attendant: 10+2 with Science stream OR 10th Pass with Science + 2 years experience in Laboratory.
  • Assistant (Amethi): Bachelor Degree with 3 years experience as UDC or equivalent in Central/State Government/University/PSU etc. (annual turnover Rs.200+ Crores), proficiency in Typing, Computer applications, noting and drafting.
  • Data Entry Operator (CSSI): 12th Standard pass in Science Stream with Mathematics, speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour.

Age Relaxation: The Board of Management of the University has resolved to provide the benefit of age relaxation (no age limit) for internal candidates in direct recruitment. Relaxation in age, experience, qualifying marks, etc., may also be granted to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/OBC/PwBD or any other reserved category as per UGC/Government of India guidelines.

Specific relaxations mentioned for Group 'C' posts: The upper age limit is relaxable for Group 'C' and erstwhile Group 'D' departmental candidates up to 40 years for General candidates and 45 years for SC/ST who have rendered three years continuous regular service in the University.

1. Eligible and interested candidates are required to fill the online application form available on the University website www.bbau.ac.in.

2. All supporting documents must be uploaded ONLINE after self-attestation. Candidates are advised to prepare PDF files of required documents before starting the online application process.

3. Candidates are advised to carefully read the General Instructions and Essential Information Section before filling up the Online Application Form and to visit the website periodically for further information related to the recruitment process.

4. Candidates already working in Central University / State University / Deemed University / Government Department / PSU / Autonomous bodies, etc. should apply through proper channel and upload the scanned copy of the endorsement along with other documents. An advance copy may be sent directly, if necessary.

5. For Internal Audit Officer (Deputation only): Upon submission of the online application form, candidates should route their application through proper channel accompanied by:

  • Hard copy of the online application form along with self-attested relevant documents.
  • Certified copies of APARs for the last five years duly attested on each page by the Competent Authority.
  • Vigilance clearance certificate and No Objection Certificate.

The hard copy for Deputation post must reach to Registrar, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Vidya Vihar, RaeBareli Road, Lucknow – 226025 (U.P.) within 15 days after the last date of submission of Online Application Form, failing which candidature will not be considered.
