Best-Fit Profile

This role is ideal for highly motivated scientific researchers with a postgraduate or 4-year engineering/IT/CS degree, particularly those with a PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry. Candidates must possess significant hands-on experience in cancer biology-related research, including techniques like ELISA, PCR, and NGS. Preference will be given to individuals skilled in SELEX and aptasensor development, demonstrating strong scientific writing and publication skills.

Important Considerations

Individuals seeking a permanent government position should not apply, as this is a time-bound contractual role for approximately one year, extendable until 2028 based on project duration. Those without specific practical laboratory experience in the listed research techniques or lacking the required postgraduate/4-year graduate degree will not be suitable. Applicants unable to provide comprehensive CVs with referee details will also be at a disadvantage.

Career Impact

Although a contractual position, it provides invaluable experience in a cutting-edge research environment, enhancing a scientist's profile and opening doors for future career advancements in biomedical research.
