Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialist: Must have passed PG Degree / DNB / Diploma in the relevant medical specialty or an equivalent qualification as per the MCI Act, 1956.
For Civil Assistant Surgeon (General): Must have passed MBBS or an equivalent qualification as per the MCI Act, 1956.
All candidates must be registered with the A.P. Medical Council with current validity.

Age Limit Details

OC candidates: Not completed 42 years as on 01.07.2026.
EWS/SC/ST/BC candidates: Not completed 47 years as on 01.07.2026.
Differently abled persons: Not completed 52 years as on 01.07.2026.
Ex-servicemen: Deduction of 3 years from age in addition to the length of service rendered in the armed forces.

Time for submission of application: 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM
Venue: Office of the District Coordinator of Hospital Services, Srikakulam, in the Premises of DM&HO office Third floor, Srikakulam.
Candidates must bring all original certificates.
Merit lists will be communicated through WhatsApp / e-mail. Counseling for choosing place of posting will be conducted through physical/ZOOM counseling.

- Filled in application form, duly signed by the candidate.
- Marks Memos of all years of P.G. Degree/ DNB / P.G.Diploma/ MBBS obtained in all the years in qualifying the examination (Consolidated Marks Memo).
- MBBS Original Degree Certificate / Provisional.
- Certificate of P.G. Degree/ DNB / P.G Diploma / MBBS.
- Internship completion certificate.
- Certificate of permanent Registration in A.P State Medical Council.
- SSC or equivalent certificate (for Date of Birth).
- Study Certificates from class 4th to 10th (or Residence certificate if private study, for Non-Local candidates).
- Latest Caste Certificate (SC/ST/BC) or EWS Certificate.
- Contract Service certificate (if applicable).
- COVID appointment orders for claiming COVID weightage (if applicable).
- PWD Candidates must submit SADAREM disability certificate (if applicable).
Applications submitted without the required certificates and incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
Candidates currently undergoing PG / Super Specialty courses are advised not to apply, as permission to continue the course will not be given if selected.
