Best-Fit Profile
This role is most suitable for experienced ex-servicemen with specific medical (BDS, Dental Hygiene Diploma) or driving qualifications, seeking contractual employment with the Ministry of Defence. Preference is explicitly given to ex-servicemen.
Important Considerations
Individuals seeking permanent government employment, those without the specified minimum work experience (3-5 years), or applicants who are not ex-servicemen may find these positions less suitable, as the preference and nature of contract cater specifically to the ex-servicemen community.
Career Impact
Working under the Ministry of Defence offers a degree of governmental association and service, especially beneficial for ex-servicemen. However, these are contractual positions for a limited duration (7-9 months, extendable), suggesting a focus on fulfilling immediate operational needs rather than offering long-term career progression within the broader civil services.
