Job Analysis

AI-generated insights

Best-Fit Profile

This role is ideal for dedicated individuals with a background in social sciences, psychology, law, or child protection, possessing a postgraduate or graduate degree with relevant experience. Candidates must have a strong commitment to child welfare, particularly in the context of sexual offenses, and be able to work on a per-case basis. Local candidates from Ramgarh will be given preference, making it highly suitable for those familiar with the district's social and legal landscape.

Important Considerations

Individuals seeking permanent, salaried employment with a fixed income and benefits should not apply, as this is a contractual, per-case fee-based panel formation. Those without the specified educational qualifications or the mandatory two years of relevant experience (or one year for court-specific roles) will not be considered. Candidates unwilling to undergo police verification or unable to provide a clean criminal record will also be ineligible.

Career Impact

Working with the District Child Protection Unit offers a valuable opportunity to contribute directly to the implementation of critical legislation like the POCSO Act, enhancing one's experience in child protection and legal support. While not a traditional government career path with fixed promotions, it provides significant professional satisfaction and builds expertise in a specialized, socially impactful field within the state government framework.
