Deputy Director

This role is ideally suited for highly accomplished and experienced senior faculty members currently working at SVNIT, Surat. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, proven leadership experience as a Professor for a minimum of 5 years, and administrative experience as an HoD/Dean for at least 2 years. Candidates must demonstrate significant contributions to academics, research, administration, and outreach activities, coupled with an outstanding academic record and recognized eminence in their field.

Candidates who are not current senior faculty members of SVNIT, or who do not meet the minimum experience requirements of 5 years as a Professor and 2 years as an HoD/Dean, should not apply. Individuals exceeding 60 years of age as of the application deadline (July 22, 2026) are also ineligible. This is a contractual role, so candidates seeking permanent positions should note this aspect.
