Candidates should hold at least a Bachelor's in Engineering/Architecture or a Master's in relevant fields, or possess professional qualifications like CA/CFA. Retired professionals with significant practical expertise who wish to contribute to academia, integrate real-world knowledge into teaching, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and strengthen industry-academia collaboration are highly encouraged to apply.

Individuals currently engaged solely in the teaching profession are not eligible. Those seeking permanent government employment with traditional career progression should note this is a contractual assignment, initially for one year and renewable up to three years or age 70. Candidates without substantial professional experience will also find this role unsuitable.
