Medical Technologist (Optometry)
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Passed H.S.(10+2) Examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
- AND a two years Diploma Course in Medical Technology in the concerned subject (Diploma in Optometry & Ophthalmic technique) recognized by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal under West Bengal Para Medical Council or conducted by any recognized Institution affiliated to any recognized University.
- OR a Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology of subject concerned (Bachelor in Optometry) from any Institution/University recognized by Government of West Bengal.
Age Limit Details
Age calculated as on 01.01.2025. Age relaxation will be given for reserved candidates as per existing norms of the State Government.
Salary & Pay Scale
Remuneration is ₹1,000/- per day for 3 days in a week. This translates to approximately ₹12,000/- per month (assuming 4 weeks in a month).
