Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Pediatrician / Obstetricians and Gynecologists: MBBS with 1 year compulsory internship from an MCI recognized Institute, registration under West Bengal Medical Council, and a Specialist Degree.
- Medical Officer: MBBS degree from an MCI/WB Medical Council recognized institution. DCH and experience with Thalassemia patients are desirable.
- Dental Technician: Higher Secondary (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, a two-year Diploma in Dental Technology, and valid registration from West Bengal Dental Council.
- Dental Hygienist: Diploma in Dental Hygienist Course from a DCI recognized institute and valid registration from the West Bengal Dental Council.
- Early interventionist cum special Educator: Degree or Diploma in Special Education or Early Intervention from a recognized institution.
- Facility Consultant Quality Monitoring: Graduate in MBBS/Dental/AYUSH/Nursing/Life Science/Social Science with a Master's in Hospital Administration / Health Management.
- Municipality Accounts Manager: B.Com from a UGC recognized University, along with essential computer skills (Tally, MS Office).
- Medical Technologist (Optometry): Higher Secondary (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and a two-year Diploma in Medical Technology (Optometry/Ophthalmic Technique) OR a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology OR a B.Sc (Pure/Bio) with a one-year Diploma course in Medical Technology.
Age Limit Details
- Pediatrician / Obstetricians and Gynecologists / Medical Officer: Maximum 67 years as on 01-04-2025.
- Dental Technician / Early interventionist cum special Educator / Facility Consultant Quality Monitoring: Maximum 40 years as on 01-04-2025.
- Dental Hygienist: Minimum 22 years and Maximum 40 years as on 01-04-2025.
- Municipality Accounts Manager: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years as on 01-04-2025.
- Medical Technologist (Optometry): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01-01-2025.
Age relaxation will be provided for reserved candidates as per Government norms.
Salary & Pay Scale
- Pediatrician: Rs. 70,000/- per month
- Obstetricians and Gynecologists: Rs. 70,000/- per month
- Medical Officer: Rs. 60,000/- per month
- Dental Technician: Rs. 22,000/- per month
- Dental Hygienist: Rs. 22,000/- per month
- Early interventionist cum special Educator: Rs. 18,000/- per month
- Facility Consultant Quality Monitoring: Rs. 18,000/- per month
- Municipality Accounts Manager: Rs. 26,000/- per month
- Medical Technologist (Optometry): Rs. 1,000/- per day (for three days a week for one year only)
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must apply online through the prescribed format available on the department's website. The application window is from 11 AM on 18th November, 2025 to Midnight 28th November, 2025.

Application Fee
Application fees are Rs. 100/- for Unreserved (UR) candidates and Rs. 50/- for reserved category candidates. Fees must be deposited through on-line mode only and are non-refundable.
