The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, is an Institution Deemed to be a University under the UGC Act 1956 and a grant-in-aid institute under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. iCALL Psychosocial Helpline, a field action project of the School of Human Ecology at TISS, Mumbai, offers counselling, support, information, and referral services to individuals experiencing emotional and psychological distress via telephone, email, and chat. The helpline operates six days a week, Monday to Saturday, from 8 AM to 10 PM. Beyond service provision, iCALL engages in research, capacity-building, and outreach projects, partnering with State Governments and NGOs to raise mental health awareness nationwide.
