1. Senior Residents (Regular) under 3 Years Central Residency Scheme:
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality from a recognized university, registered with Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India.
- Alternative (if PG/Diploma doctors are unavailable): MBBS doctors without a PG degree but with two years of experience (including one year in the concerned speciality from a government or private hospital, not a private clinic). Such appointments are for 1 year on a contract basis.
2. Full-Time Contractual Specialist:
- MBBS with a Post Graduate degree/diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized University.
- Experience Required: 3 years' experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Degree or 5 years' experience after acquiring the Post Graduate Diploma.
- Registration with DMC/MCI is mandatory.
3. Part-Time Contractual Super Specialist:
- Entry Level: MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB in the concerned Super Speciality from an MCI recognized Medical College, with 3 years of experience. For holders of 5-year DM/MCH qualifications, senior PG residency rendered in the latter part counts towards the 3-year experience.
- Senior Level: MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB in the concerned Super Speciality from an MCI recognized Medical College, with 5 years of experience. For holders of 5-year DM/MCH qualifications, senior PG residency rendered in the latter part counts towards the 5-year experience.
