Educational Qualification
- Educational qualifications and experience will be as per the Medical Institutions (Qualifications of Faculty) Regulations 2025 (NMC Gazette Notification dtd. 30-06-2025).
- For Senior Resident posts in Super-specialty Departments, candidates with MCh/DM/DrNB are preferred. In their absence, Senior Residents from concerned parent Broad Specialties will be considered.
- For Senior Resident in Dentistry, candidates with MDS in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery will be preferred.
- The Diplomat of National Board (DNB) qualifications (Broad and Super Specialties) are considered equivalent to MD/MS and DM/M.Ch respectively, if granted in a medical institution with an attached hospital or a hospital with 500+ beds, as per NMC TEQ dated 14.02.2022. In other cases, one additional year of senior residency in a medical college is required for equivalence for teaching purposes.
