This apprenticeship is ideal for young, aspiring candidates (18-27 years for General, with relaxations for reserved categories) who have recently completed High School and an ITI qualification (NCVT/SCVT) in trades such as Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Welder, Electrician, Draftsman, or Foundryman. It's particularly suitable for those without prior apprenticeship experience or more than one year of work experience, seeking a foundational industrial training opportunity with a Maharatna PSU like BHEL.

Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training, possess one year or more of work experience, or are currently enrolled in any regular course are ineligible. Those who fail to meet the minimum academic score requirements (60% for General/EWS/OBC, 55% for SC/ST) or the specified age limits as of July 1, 2026, should not apply. Incomplete applications or failure to submit required documents by the deadlines will lead to rejection.
