Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for the post of Operator (On Tenure basis) must have completed an ITI course with First-class (60%) in their respective Trade under the Conventional Training Pattern of the Craftsmen Training Scheme. They must also possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) along with a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) as a regular candidate, both issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). A minimum percentage of marks is relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

The upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. of India guidelines: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. For PwD Candidates, the upper age limit is relaxable by an additional 10 years over and above the relaxation admissible for SC/ST/OBC – NCL categories. Relaxation is permissible for candidates with minimum 40% disability.

An annual increase of 3% shall be admissible on the Basic Pay, subject to satisfactory performance. Provident Fund contribution will be calculated based on Basic Pay + Dearness Allowance. Other benefits include payment of Gratuity and Bonus as per applicable Acts.

Exam Syllabus & Pattern
The selection process includes a Computer Based Written Test of 2 hours duration, comprising Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The test is divided into three parts:
- Part-I: 20 questions on General Awareness
- Part-II: 20 questions on English & Reasoning
- Part-III: 60 questions on the concerned Discipline
Each question carries 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking. The pass mark for the written test is fixed at 60%, relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Final selection will be based on merit in the Written Test.

- Candidates must use a proper e-mail ID, which should remain valid for at least one year.
- Applications must be submitted ONLINE only via the career page at www.bemlindia.in.
- The online registration site will be available until 18:00 Hrs on 12th of September, 2025.
- Applicants should note the 'Registration number' for future correspondence.
- The following documents must be uploaded along with the online application; otherwise, applications will be incomplete and rejected:
- Recent photograph
- Signature (on clear white background in black ink)
- Caste/Category Certificate (as applicable)
- PwD Certificate (as applicable)
- 10th Standard marks card
- ITI / NTC Certificate
- ITI Marks sheets (as a single PDF)
- National Apprentice Certificate (NAC)
- All marks cards, along with CGPA Conversion formula (as applicable) – self-attested
- Identity card issued by Government of India (e.g., Aadhar, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card)
- All relevant experience certificates (as a single PDF file)
- Incomplete applications or those without uploading the required documents will be summarily rejected.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 200/- is applicable for Eligible and interested GEN / EWS / OBC candidates. This fee is not applicable for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
