For contractual positions, candidates are eligible for a 3% annual increment up to the maximum limit. If the last drawn salary of a selected candidate is higher than the entry level, the offer may be increased by giving a 3% hike on the last drawn salary, subject to the maximum limit of the pay structure.

Applications sent by any other mode will not be entertained. Key instructions include:

• The attached CV will be considered as additional information; eligibility will be based solely on the application form.
• Applications not in the prescribed format will be rejected. The application format can be downloaded from upmsc.in.
• Candidates must have a valid personal email ID/Mobile number, kept active during the recruitment process.
• Candidates should submit a duly filled-out Application Form with a recent passport-size photograph and self-attested copies of certificates (qualifications, experience, age, etc.).
• Incomplete applications or those not supported by self-attested copies will be rejected.
• Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
• Regular government employees are encouraged to apply on deputation, and an NOC from the parent department will be required if selected.
• Vacancies are subject to the State Reservation Policy of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates claiming reservation must submit their Caste certificate and permanent residential proof.
• Open market positions are contractual for an initial period of three years, extendable based on performance.
• A personal interview process will be conducted for selection. A maximum of 10 candidates will be shortlisted for the final interview, based on a preliminary evaluation process if more than 10 eligible candidates exist.
• UPMSCL will not provide transportation costs for attending interviews.
