Indian Institute of Technology Goa Recruitment 2026: Special Recruitment Drive for Assistant Professors in Various Schools

In addition to the basic pay, candidates are entitled to other allowances applicable to IIT Goa, including contributions to New Pension Scheme (NPS), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Medical Reimbursement, and Children Education Allowance. The institute also provides relocation expenses (up to Rs. 1.25 Lakh for international candidates, Rs. 75,000/- for domestic), a Cumulative Professional Development Allowance (CPDA) of Rs. 3 Lakhs every 3 years, and an "Institute Start-up Grant" for new faculty to initiate research work.

Applications must be submitted online through the IIT Goa faculty recruitment portal. The online application portal will be accessible until 05:00 PM on 31 March 2026. Applicants will need to:

• Create a login account using their email address.
• Log in and initiate a "Start new application" or resume a draft.
• Choose at least one specialization from the listed options (Table 1 on page 2).
• Fill in all mandatory fields and upload required documents.
• Save drafts periodically if the application is not completed in one session.
• Preview the application before final submission.
• Submit the application via the "SUBMIT" button, after which it cannot be edited.
• A confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission.

Candidates who have applied previously must reapply afresh. A single application is valid for one School/Thrust Area; separate applications are required for multiple Schools/Thrust Areas.
