Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College AMU Recruitment 2026: 3 Assistant Professor & Senior Resident Vacancies

Pay levels are specified as AL-10 for Assistant Professors and AL-11 for Senior Residents, in accordance with NMC norms and the Residency Scheme adopted by Aligarh Muslim University.

Applicants must apply online and then submit a hard copy of their application:

• Online Application Process:
  • Fill the Application Form only in Online Mode at the University's Careers Portal: https://careers.amuonline.ac.in.
  • A separate application form must be filled for each distinct post applied for.
  • Pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- online. PwD candidates are exempted if they upload a valid Disability Certificate.
  • The last date for successful online application submission is 12.03.2026 (until 11:59 P.M.).
• Hard Copy Submission Process:
  • After successful online submission, take a printout of the PDF file of the Application Form on A-4 size paper.
  • Append your signature and paste a front-facing recent photograph at the designated place on the Application Form.
  • Attach self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents, including: High School Certificate, Mark-sheet and Degree of Graduation, Mark-sheet and Degree of Post-Graduation, Certificate of NET, JRF, SLET/SET, CSIR (if applicable), M. Phil/Ph.D. Degree (if applicable), Internship completion Certificate, Valid Registration of Graduation, Post-graduation from NMC, Experience Certificates, and No Objection Certificate (if employed).
  • Super-scribe on the top-left side of the cover, the post applied for, advertisement number, and its date.
  • Submit the complete application form by post to: Office of the Dean, J. N. Medical College, Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002.
  • The hard copy must reach the office on or before 19.03.2026 (2:30 p.m.). Applications received late will be summarily rejected.
• Interview: Candidates are required to report with all original documents in the office of the Dean, Faculty of Medicine, AMU, Aligarh half an hour before the scheduled time of the Local Selection Committee meeting, which will be held on 28.03.2026. No separate interview letter will be issued.

• Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) for each application form.
• Mode of Payment: Online, exclusively through the University's Careers Portal.
• Exemption: Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates are exempted from the fee upon uploading an authentic Disability Certificate in the prescribed Proforma.
