Best-Fit Profile

This role is ideally suited for experienced professionals holding a Master's or Bachelor's degree with a specialized Diploma in fields like Footwear Manufacturing, Leather Design, Product Design, or General Management. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of academic and/or industrial experience relevant to the specific domain. Individuals who are motivated to contribute to an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and are seeking a specialized teaching/academic support role on a contractual basis would find this opportunity highly suitable.

Important Considerations

Candidates seeking permanent government employment or those expecting extensive benefits such as HRA, LTC, or medical reimbursement will find this role unsuitable as it offers a consolidated remuneration without these allowances. Individuals lacking the highly specific educational qualifications and minimum three years of relevant domain experience, or those who cannot commit to the ad-hoc contractual nature, should not apply.

Career Impact

Working as a Junior Faculty at FDDI, an Institution of National Importance, offers significant institutional prestige and an opportunity to contribute to a specialized and vital sector. While the engagement is initially on an ad-hoc basis, it provides valuable exposure and experience within a government-backed academic environment, which could be beneficial for future career growth in design education or industry.
