Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must possess a VALID GATE certificate or NET-LS qualification.
- Academic Record: First class minimum (60% or equivalent) in preceding graduate and postgraduate degrees, along with a very good overall academic record.
Age Limit Details
The upper age limit is 28 years. Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
Salary & Pay Scale
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 37000/- per month. No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided.

Interested candidates must follow these steps:
- Email CV: Send an advance copy of your detailed CV (including date of birth, contact details, phone number, email, postal address, photocopies of educational/professional qualifications, and publications) to Dr. Anjan Chakraborty at [email protected] and [email protected].
- Reference Letters: Arrange for recommendation letters from two referees to be emailed directly to [email protected] or provided in a sealed envelope before the interview.
- Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated via email for the interview. The interview will be a walk-in/online mode. For online mode, a Google Meet link will be shared.
- Documents for Interview: Bring a Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) along with a valid photographic identity card, original documents, and self-attested photocopies of all documents (from 10th class onwards) at the time of the interview.
- No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance/Dearness Allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
