Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold an M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Nano Science & Technology, or an equivalent degree.
A minimum of 60% marks is required in the qualifying degree.
Applicants must possess a valid CSIR NET-LS or GATE Score.

Desirable: Knowledge of Condensed Matter Physics (Solid State Physics), Materials Chemistry, Materials Science, and Electro Chemistry is preferred.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is relaxable by up to 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes (SC/ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), women, and physically handicapped candidates.

Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of Rs. 37,000/- per month, in addition to a House Rent Allowance (HRA) @ 18%.
