Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- MSc/MTech in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Ceramics Engineering, or Solid State Physics.
- Candidates who have qualified NET/ GATE will be given preference.
Salary & Pay Scale
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be paid a consolidated salary of Rs. 31,000/- per month.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): JRF may be provided accommodation based on availability.
- Those residing in institute-provided accommodation will not be eligible for HRA.
- Wherever hostel accommodation is not possible, HRA may be allowed as per Government norms applicable in the city/location where they are working.
- The fellowship amount will be taken as basic for calculating HRA.
