Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Image Processing, Computer Vision, Medical Image Processing, or Edge-AI. Proficiency in programming languages like Python or MATLAB, coupled with a desire to pursue a Ph.D., will be a significant advantage. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable research experience within a prestigious national institute.

Important Considerations

Candidates who do not meet the specified educational qualifications in Electronics and Communication Engineering (or equivalent) with the required percentage/CGPA should not apply. Those seeking a permanent government position should also note that this is a purely temporary, project-based appointment. Individuals who are not comfortable with online application processes or are unable to provide a comprehensive single-page CV and scanned certificates may face challenges.

Career Impact

Working as a Junior Research Fellow at a National Institute of Technology (NIT) offers significant prestige and a strong foundation for a research career. NIT Warangal, being an Institute of National Importance, provides an excellent environment for academic and research growth. The project itself, focused on 'AI-guided Smart Point-of-Care Device for Early Detection of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia,' is a high-impact research area, offering exposure to advanced technologies and potentially leading to a Ph.D. registration. While the position is temporary, the experience gained and networking opportunities are invaluable for future career progression in academia or industry.
