Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential: M.E. / M.Tech (or equivalent degree) in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Microelectronics/ VLSI/ Embedded Systems/ Applied Electronics with minimum 60% marks/6.0 CPI, AND a valid GATE score in EC.
- Alternatively: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with minimum 75% marks/7.5 CPI, AND a valid GATE score in EC.
- Alternatively (with experience): B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with minimum 70% marks/7.0 CPI, AND a valid GATE score in EC, provided the applicant has more than two years of professional experience and the degree is from an Institution funded by the Central Government.
- Desirable: Candidate qualified in GATE (EC) and having basic exposure to practical sensor/biosensor fabrication and characterization processes will be given preference.
Age Limit Details
Age relaxation for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates will be provided as per Government of India rules.
Salary & Pay Scale
For the first two years, a stipend of Rs. 37,000 + 20% HRA (totaling Rs. 44,400 per month) will be provided. From the third year onwards, the stipend will increase to Rs. 42,000 + 20% HRA (totaling Rs. 50,400 per month).
