Junior Research Fellow

Ideal for highly motivated candidates holding B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Chemical, Biochemical, Petroleum, Process, Mechanical, Materials, Energy, or Metallurgical Engineering, or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or Energy Science, provided they have valid GATE/NET/JEST/INSPIRE scores. Candidates should possess strong academic records (60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA) and a keen interest in molecular dynamic simulations for advanced materials research, particularly for space applications. The role is suitable for individuals seeking to pursue a Ph.D., as continuation into a regular Ph.D. program is expected.

This position is not suitable for individuals seeking permanent government employment, as it is a temporary, project-based role for a duration of two years. Candidates without the specified engineering or science degrees and valid qualifying scores (GATE/NET/JEST/INSPIRE) for their respective fields are ineligible. Those without a strong interest or background in computational materials science and molecular dynamics simulation, specifically related to MOFs for VOC removal, will find the role challenging and should not apply.
