Junior Research Fellow

This role is ideal for highly motivated candidates holding a B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.E./M.S. degree in Computer Science, IT, or ECE from a reputable institution, with a strong academic record (minimum 60% marks/6.5 CGPA or 7.5 CGPA for B.Tech/B.E.) and a valid GATE/NET qualification. Candidates with desirable project development experience in Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, coupled with strong Python programming skills, will be highly preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to gain research experience in a DST-funded project and potentially pursue a Ph.D. at NIT Delhi.

Candidates who do not meet the essential educational qualifications, including the minimum CGPA/marks and a valid GATE/NET score, should not apply. Individuals seeking a permanent government position or those unwilling to commit to a project-based temporary role (initially for one year, extendable based on performance) will find this role unsuitable. Applicants exceeding the age limit of 32 years (without applicable GOI relaxation) are also ineligible. Given it is a single vacancy, competition is expected to be very high.
