Essential Qualification (General Posts):
- A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test (SLET/SET) accredited by UGC.
  OR Have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, with amendments.
- Ph.D. Exemption Conditions (for those registered before July 11, 2009): Regular mode Ph.D. degree, evaluated by at least two external examiners, open viva voice conducted, two research papers published (at least one in a refereed journal), and two papers presented in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR sponsored conferences/seminars.
- Alternative Ph.D. Eligibility: A Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (QS, THE, or ARWU).
- A relaxation of 5% in marks shall be allowed at both Bachelor's and Master's levels for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/Differently-abled categories.
Essential Qualification (For Hindi Posts):
- M.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks.

Online Application:
- Apply through the Mizoram Public Service Commission's online portal: https://mpsconline.mizoram.gov.in
- The deadline for online submission is 2025-12-12 upto 4:00 PM, after payment of application fees.
Offline Application:
- Download the prescribed application form and self-assessment form from the Commission's official website: https://mpsc.mizoram.gov.in/page/advertisement-g-2025-2026 under Advertisement No. 33 section.
- The Self-Assessment form and Enclosures (certified photocopies of academic records from HSLC and above, Caste/Tribal/OBC Certificate if applicable) should be submitted along with the OFFLINE application form.
Government servants must apply through the proper channel.
Documentary support for all eligibility conditions must not be dated later than the last date of application.

Persons with Disabilities: Exempted from payment.
