• The post carries allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) and other benefits as admissible to Central Government employees and made applicable to CSIR employees.
• Council accommodation may be provided, subject to availability, in accordance with CSIR Residence Allotment Rules. In such cases, HRA shall not be admissible.
• Selected candidates will be entitled to benefits such as National Pension System (NPS), medical facilities/reimbursement, Leave Travel Concession (LTC), Children Education Allowance (CEA), and other benefits as admissible under applicable CSIR/Government of India Rules.
• Persons appointed shall be governed by the National Pension System (NPS), as applicable to employees joining Central Government service on or after 01.01.2004, as adopted by CSIR and amended from time to time.
• The service conditions shall be governed by applicable CSIR Rules and Regulations, including the relevant provisions of the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, Fundamental Rules, Supplementary Rules, and other orders/instructions issued by the Government of India/CSIR.
• The post carries All India Service Liability (AISL), meaning the selected candidate may be posted or transferred to any of the Laboratories/Institutes/Centres of CSIR or any place in India.

The Competitive Written Examination will be OMR Based Objective Type Multiple Choice. The medium of questions will be English, Hindi & Kannada, except for English Language questions.

Tie-breaking methodology (in ascending order of precedence):

1. Candidate with lesser negative marks in papers considered for merit.
2. Older candidate based on Date of Birth.
3. Candidate acquiring Essential Qualification earlier.
4. Alphabetical order of first names.

Eligible candidates are required to submit their application in the prescribed format, duly filled in, along with self-attested copies of all requisite certificates/documents and the application fee receipt (where applicable), in hard copy by Speed Post/Courier only.

Application Checklist:

• Demand Draft of ₹500/- (if applicable) drawn in favour of The Director, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, Bengaluru. Write your name and father's name on the back of the DD.
• Recent passport-size colour photograph affixed on the application form.
• Signature on the application form.
• Self-attested copies of SSLC/Matriculation/X Standard Certificate/Mark Sheet (for Date of Birth proof).
• Self-attested copies of all prescribed educational qualifications certificates and mark sheets.
• Self-attested copy of the latest SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwBD/Ex-serviceman certificate (if applicable), in the prescribed Government of India format.
• For widows/divorced/judicially separated women who have not remarried: Death Certificate of husband (for widows) or certified copy of judgment/decree (for divorced/separated) along with an affidavit stating non-remarriage.
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Vigilance Clearance Certificate from the employer for candidates serving as regular employees in CSIR/Government/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs.
• School Leaving Certificate if DOB not on SSLC/Matriculation certificate.
• Self-attested copy of a valid Government-issued photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence, etc.).
• The envelope must be superscribed "Application for the Post of MTS, Advt. No.11/2026".

Applications received after the closing date, incomplete applications, or those not in the prescribed format will be rejected. Applications received through e-mail, hand delivery, or any other mode will not be entertained.

A non-refundable application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) shall be paid by candidates through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of "The Director, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories" payable at Bengaluru.

Exemptions: Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-servicemen (ESM), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Women are exempted from payment of the application fee. All other candidates must pay the prescribed application fee.
