Job Analysis

Best-Fit Profile

This JRF position is ideal for highly motivated engineering graduates and postgraduates with a strong academic background in Mechanical, Thermal, Fluid Science, Energy Engineering, R&AC, or Computational Fluid Dynamics. Candidates with a Master's degree are preferred, though exceptional Bachelor's degree holders with higher CGPA are also eligible. The role particularly suits individuals interested in solar energy research, experimental setup development, and CFD simulations using ANSYS Fluent/COMSOL. Aspirants looking for a temporary, research-intensive role that offers potential registration for a PhD degree will find this opportunity highly rewarding.

Important Considerations

Individuals seeking permanent government employment should not apply, as this is a purely temporary research position. Candidates who do not meet the specified aggregate marks or CGPA requirements for their respective categories and degrees will not be considered. Those without a strong background in the relevant engineering disciplines or specific software exposure (CFD) may struggle in this role. The position also requires relocation to Warangal, Telangana, for the duration of the project.

Career Impact

NIT Warangal is an Institute of National Importance, providing a prestigious and robust academic environment. A JRF role here offers significant exposure to cutting-edge research in renewable energy, working on a project funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF). The opportunity to register for a PhD degree concurrently adds immense value, providing a strong foundation for a long-term career in academia, research, or advanced R&D sectors. This experience will significantly boost one's profile for future opportunities in specialized engineering research.
