Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Librarian: A Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks, and a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- Assistant Registrar: A Master's Degree with at least 55% of marks.
- Professional Assistant: A Master's Degree in Library & Information Science OR a Bachelor's Degree in Library/Library and Information Science. Knowledge of Computer Applications is required.
- Laboratory Assistant (Education/Language Lab): Siksha Sastri/Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) and knowledge of computers.
- Upper Division Clerk: A Bachelor's Degree, typing speed (35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi), and proficiency in Computer Operations.
- Library Attendant: 10+2 or equivalent, a Certificate Course in Library Science, and basic knowledge of computer applications.
- Group 'C' MTS: 10th Pass or ITI Pass from a recognized Board.
Age Limit Details
- Librarian: Preferably below 57 years (Direct) / 58 years (Deputation).
- Assistant Registrar: 40 years.
- Professional Assistant: 35 years.
- Laboratory Assistant (Education/Language Lab): 32 years.
- Upper Division Clerk: 32 years.
- Library Attendant: 32 years.
- Group 'C' MTS: 32 years.
Permissible relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for reserved categories as per government norms.

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 800/- for UR/OBC/EWS male candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD and all Women candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
