Candidates must possess one of the following essential qualifications:
- A Post Graduate Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Geo-informatics, or Information Technology.
- A Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course.
Additionally, candidates must be selected through one of the following processes:
- National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship) and GATE.
- National level examinations conducted by central government bodies like DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in Hyperspectral remote sensing, Python, IDL, or Matlab is preferred.
