Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade). A relaxation of 5% is provided for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Differently-abled categories.
- Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar accredited test like SLET/SET.
- Exemptions from NET/SLET/SET are available for:
- Candidates who hold a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC regulations.
- Candidates who have obtained a Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (QS, THE, or ARWU).
