Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc. Nursing: With a specialization in obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, or community health.
- B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing: With any other specialty (excluding obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, or community health).
- All applicants must be a registered R.N.R.M. (Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife) with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council and provide an active registration certificate.
Salary & Pay Scale
Selected in-service candidates (DHS cadre staff nurses, DRME cadre staff nurses, NHM cadre staff nurses, or Community Health Officers contracted under NHM Punjab) will continue to receive their salaries from their parent department without any break in service.
An additional allowance of Rs. 15,000 per month will be provided for the entire 18-month duration of the course to all candidates who join.
Tuition fees and boarding & lodging during the first six months of residential training at NMTI Patiala will be borne by NHM Punjab.
