Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Essential Academic Qualification:
- M.Tech. in Chemical/Material Science/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology/Applied Sciences. OR
- M.Sc. degree in Chemistry with at least 55% marks. OR
- M.Sc. degree in Physics with at least 55% marks. OR
- M.Sc. degree in Materials Science/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology with at least 55% marks.
Mandatory Eligibility Test: Candidates must have qualified one of the following:
- NET-CSIR/UGC including lectureship (Asst. Prof.) & Ph.D.
- A valid GATE score.
- Selection through a National level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is 28 years as on the last date of receipt of the application. Age relaxation for reserved candidates (SC/ST, PWD, etc.) will be applicable as per Panjab University/government guidelines.

Salary & Pay Scale

The selected candidates will receive a fellowship of Rs. 37,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per applicable rules. This is subject to the terms and conditions of the funding agency and the regulations of Panjab University.
