Project Associate I

• For Project Associate-I (MSTD-8, MSTD-13, MSTD-18, CSET-8):
  • Rs. 31,000/- + 20% HRA: For candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) OR GATE OR National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments (like DBT/DST or equivalent agencies/institutions).
  • Rs. 25,000/- + 20% HRA: For others who do not fulfill the above criteria.
• For Project Associate-I (MSTD-20):
  • Rs. 37,000/- + 20% HRA: For candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) OR GATE OR National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments (like DBT/DST or equivalent agencies/institutions).
  • Rs. 30,000/- + 20% HRA: For others who do not fulfill the above criteria.

Interested and eligible candidates are required to report for a Walk-in-Interview at CSIR-NIIST, Industrial Estate PO, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram at 09:00 AM on 2026-06-23. Candidates reporting after 09:30 AM will not be entertained.

Applicants must download the prescribed application form from the CSIR-NIIST website, fill it completely, paste a recent colour passport size photograph, and submit it at the time of the Walk-in-Interview. The application form should be accompanied by:

• Self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets (Matriculation onwards) in support of age, educational qualification, experience, and caste mentioned in the application.
• All original certificates/testimonials for verification at the time of the interview.

A written test may be conducted if deemed necessary. Persons with disabilities (PWD) fulfilling the eligibility conditions prescribed under GOI instructions are encouraged to attend the walk-in-interview.
