Project Associate II

This role is ideal for highly motivated postgraduates holding an M.Sc. in Food Science, Technology, or Nutrition, who possess a minimum of two years of R&D experience in industrial, academic, or Science & Technology organizations. Candidates with hands-on experience in product development and laboratory analysis techniques, seeking project-based work within a prestigious national research institution, will find this opportunity suitable. The position offers exposure to a multicentric randomized-control trial project (I-CARE Study).

Individuals seeking permanent government employment should not apply, as this is a purely temporary contractual position co-terminus with the project (up to February 2028). Candidates who have already completed 6 years as project staff in any CSIR lab/institute are strictly ineligible. Those without the specified M.Sc. degree or the mandatory two years of relevant R&D experience will not be considered. Applicants awaiting final results are also not eligible.

CSIR-CFTRI is a highly reputable national laboratory under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), offering a strong academic and research environment.
