Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Project Associate: Candidates must possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering in fields such as Water, Environment, Economics, Public Policy, Management, Development Studies, or related areas, with a first-class grade. Qualification in GATE/CSIR-UGC NET/CSIR-UGC LS/INSPIRE is required.
- For Research Associate: A Ph.D. degree is mandatory, or candidates must hold an ME/M.Tech. with 3 years of research, teaching, and design and policy experience, along with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal in a relevant field.
Salary & Pay Scale
- For Project Associate:
- Rs. 31,000 + HRA per DST rule for candidates qualified with GATE/CSIR- UGC NET/CSIR-UGC LS/INSPIRE.
- Rs. 25,000 + HRA per rules for non-GATE/CSIR- UGC NET/CSIR-UGC LS/INSPIRE qualified candidates.
- For Research Associate (Consolidated Salary as per DST Rules):
- Research Associate-I: Rs. 58,000/- per month.
- Research Associate-II: Rs. 61,000/- per month.
- Research Associate-III: Rs. 67,000/- per month.
The specific category for Research Associate will be decided by the selection committee based on qualification, experience, and performance in the interview.
