Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • Essential Qualifications: Candidates must possess either:
    • A first-class M.Pharm/M.S. (Pharm)/M.Tech(Pharm)/M.Tech degree in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry; OR
    • A second-class M.Pharm/M.S. (Pharm)/M.Tech(Pharm)/M.Tech degree in Medicinal Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry along with one year of research experience.
    All qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University/Institute.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates qualified in GATE/GPAT/CSIR-UGC-NET (including lectureship or equivalent) and having experience in drug design, NCEs synthesis, or a strong organic synthesis background.

Age Limit & Relaxations

The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxations are applicable as per Government of India (GOI) rules for reserved categories like SC/ST. SC/ST candidates will be preferred if all other conditions are equal.

Pay Scale & Monthly Remuneration

The candidate will be paid a fixed stipend of Rs. 28,000 per month, along with an additional 20% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
