Essential Criteria for Community Health Officers (CHO)
Candidates must meet the criteria for one of the following streams:
- Nursing Stream:
- Passed General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, or B.Sc. Nursing from an institute recognized by the West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
- Candidates who passed the integrated BPCCHN course with B.Sc. Nursing in 2021 or later are also eligible.
- Must possess a registration certificate/provisional certificate from WBNC.
- BAMS Stream:
- Passed BAMS from a recognized Institute/University.
- Must possess a registration certificate/provisional certificate from Paschim Banga Ayurved Parisad (West Bengal Ayurved Council).
