Research Associate I

Candidates will receive a consolidated payment of Rs. 58,000/- per month, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) if hostel accommodation is not provided. Research Associates are also eligible for medical benefits for self and leave entitlement as per SDSC SHAR rules. These provisions are subject to change/revision from time to time as per the policy of the Government of India.

• Applications must be submitted exclusively in ONLINE mode via the official SDSC SHAR website.
• The online registration webpage will be active from June 23, 2026 (10:00 Hours) until July 17, 2026 (23:59 Hours).
• Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
  • A recent color passport size photograph (not older than 6 months) in .jpg format (up to 40 KB, 110 x 140 pixels).
  • Signature in .jpg format (up to 20 KB, 200 x 50 pixels).
  • SSLC/SSC Certificate in .pdf format.
  • Consolidated marks sheet for the essential qualification (in .pdf format). If a consolidated mark sheet is not available, year/semester-wise mark sheets should be uploaded.
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC), Disability Certificate (for PWBD candidates), and Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Servicemen), if applicable.
• After successful online registration, applicants must download and print the personalized registration confirmation form for future reference, which will contain their name, Registration Number, Advertisement Number, and Post Code.
• The uploaded documents will be verified at the time of the interview.
• Candidates will receive interview call letters via their registered e-mail ID. They can also download call letters from the official websites https://www.shar.gov.in or https://apps.shar.gov.in using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) is required for each application. The fee must be paid exclusively through online mode; no other payment method will be accepted. Applicants are advised to complete their payments well before the deadline to avoid any transaction failures.

Exemptions: Women, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) candidates are fully exempted from payment of the application fee. Applications from non-exempted categories submitted without the fee will not be considered.
