Research Investigator

This role is ideal for recent graduates in social science with proficiency in Marathi, seeking short-term (three-month) contractual experience in survey-based research. Candidates comfortable with field travel within Mumbai and possessing desirable experience in large-scale surveys or data entry tools will be highly preferred.

Individuals seeking permanent government employment or long-term career stability should not apply, as this is a purely contractual role for a limited duration of three months. Those unwilling to travel extensively within Mumbai or lacking Marathi language proficiency will not be suitable. Candidates expecting TA/DA or accommodation for the interview will be disappointed, as IIPS explicitly states these will not be provided.

The International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) is a Deemed-to-be-University with a good reputation in population studies. While the project offers valuable short-term research experience, the limited duration (three months) and contractual nature mean limited long-term growth prospects within this specific role.
