Regular Scale Post (Laboratory Assistant):

• Pay Scale: Level 4 of 7th CPC (Entry Scale)
• Perks: Transport Allowance, LTC, Contributory Pension (NPS), Subsidised schooling (upto 2 children), Rent free accommodation, Medical Allowance as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations.
• Appointment includes All India transferability clause.

Contractual Basis Posts (PEM/PTI-cum-Matron, Band Master/Music Teacher, Ward Boy):

• Remuneration:
  • PEM/PTI-cum-Matron: Rs 71,840/- per month
  • Band Master/Music Teacher: Rs 46,720/- per month
  • Ward Boy: Rs 28,800/- per month
• Tenure: 11 months from date of appointment, extendable to a maximum of three years based on performance review and school's requirement.
• One-month break every year after 11 months.
• Vacation pay not applicable.

Candidates will undergo a Written Test, Class Demonstration, Interview, and Skill/Proficiency Test as applicable for their respective posts. Document verification is mandatory.

For Laboratory Assistant (Biology), PEM/PTI-cum-Matron, Band Master/Music Teacher:

• Written Test (100 Marks, Weightage 50%): One hour duration.
  • General Knowledge (15 marks)
  • General English (15 Marks)
  • Basic Mathematics (10 Marks)
  • Subject Test (60 marks)
  Minimum 33% to 50% marks required to qualify.
• Class Demonstration (100 Marks, Weightage 30%): Candidates prepare a topic, lesson plan, and teaching aids.
• Interview (100 Marks, Weightage 15%).
• Higher Qualification and Experience (Weightage 5%).

For Ward Boy (छात्रावास सहायक):

• Written Test (50 Marks): One hour duration.
  • General Knowledge (5 marks)
  • General English (10 Marks)
  • Basic Mathematics (10 Marks)
  • Subject Test (25 marks)
  Minimum 33% to 50% marks required to qualify.
• Skill/Proficiency Test (50 Marks):
  • Running/Shuttle (Age Group wise) (10 marks)
  • Games Duty Test (Organising Games for Candidates)/Setting of Bed/ Knowledge of First Aid etc (30 marks)
  • Knowledge of Child Psychology/POSCO Act etc (10 marks)

General Note: Candidates must bring original certificates for physical verification. Failure to produce original documents will lead to summary rejection of candidature. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the selection process.

1. Download the prescribed application form from the official Sainik School Ambikapur website.

2. Complete the application form and attach all relevant documents.

3. Remit the non-refundable application fee (Rs 500/- for regular post, Rs 300/- for contractual posts) via RTGS/NEFT/Digital modes to 'Principal Sainik School Ambikapur' (Account No. 37923027067, IFS Code: SBIN0000310).

4. Send the duly completed application form and all relevant documents, along with proof of fee payment, to the Sainik School Ambikapur office. The application must reach the office on or before September 11, 2026.

5. Duly completed applications received via email may be considered, subject to timely receipt of the prescribed registration fees on or before September 11, 2026.

6. Applicants must clearly mention their e-mail ID and contact number in the application form.
