Educational Qualification

Eligibility and qualifications criteria for Senior Resident, Dental (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery):
Educational Qualification: Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) Degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from a recognized University / Institution approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
Registration: Valid registration with Dental Council of India (DCI) or Delhi Dental Council (DDC). Selected candidates must produce a valid Delhi Dental Council registration certificate at the time of joining.
Senior Residency Limitation: Candidates must not have completed three (3) years of Senior Residency in any recognized institution on either a regular or ad-hoc basis.
Tenure: Purely on an ad-hoc basis for an initial period of 89 days, extendable up to 03 years subject to satisfactory performance and conduct with a mandatory break of one day after each 89-day tenure, or until a regular candidate joins.
Deployment: Assigned to the Trauma Centre of Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital (SGMH), Mangolpuri, Delhi.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Upper age limit is 45 years for General/UR candidates as on the date of interview. Age relaxations are admissible as follows: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates (OBC of Delhi only with valid NCL certificate), and 5 years extra for Persons with Disability (PwD).

Selection is conducted through a structured evaluation process:
