Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Recruitment 2026: 827 Constable (Veterinary, Driver, Gardener & Other Trades) Vacancies

Selected candidates for these Constable posts will receive salary as per Level-3 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700 - 69,100).

In addition to basic pay, other allowances include:

• Dearness Allowance
• Ration Money Allowance
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Any other allowances as admissible in SSB from time to time as per Government orders.

Selected candidates will be covered under the Defined Contributory Pension Scheme (New Pension Scheme) or Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) for new entrants to Central Government services, applicable from 01st January 2004 or 01st April 2025, according to prevailing government rules and organizational policies.

Key steps and important points:

• Applications must be submitted ONLINE ONLY. Applications received through any other mode will be rejected.
• A candidate can apply for only one post.
• Ensure all required documents, photos, and signatures are uploaded correctly and the application is submitted within the stipulated time frame. Incomplete or incorrect applications are liable to be rejected.
• Upload a passport-size colored photograph (4kb-12kb, 100x120 pixels, white background, 75% face visible).
• Upload signature (4kb-12kb, 140x60 pixels).
• Candidates must note down their registration/application number for future reference.
• Fill in personal details, date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY format), nationality, religion, marital status, and category as per matriculation certificate.
• Provide a 12-digit Aadhaar number, or a photo-bearing Identity Card number (Driving License, Voter Card, Pan Card, University/College ID).
• Mention a valid mobile number and current, in-use valid email ID, as these are mandatory for communication.
• Fill in educational qualifications, postal address, and declare any criminal cases.
• Create a password for login to check application status.
• The application form can be edited till the closing/last date of receipt of online application form using the "Edit Details" button.
• After final submission, no requests for change/correction in any particulars will be entertained.
• Application forms with blurred photographs or incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected.

An examination fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) is payable by UR, EWS, and OBC category candidates.

The fee is non-refundable and can be paid through net-banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

However, the following categories are exempted from payment of examination fees:

• SC candidates
• ST candidates
• Ex-Servicemen
• Female candidates
