Senior Research Fellow & Junior Research Fellow

This role is most suitable for candidates holding an M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Botany, or a related Life Science branch with a strong academic record (≥ 55% CGPA). For the JRF position, a national-level exam qualification (UGC/CSIR-NET, GATE, etc.) is essential. Candidates aspiring for the SRF position must have a minimum of two years of research experience. Preference is given to those with expertise in biochemistry, plant molecular biology, and plant tissue culture, making it ideal for researchers looking for project-based work in a central university setting.

Candidates who do not meet the minimum M.Sc. qualification or the stipulated percentage/CGPA should not apply. Those without the required two years of research experience are not eligible for the SRF post. Similarly, JRF applicants must possess a valid NET/GATE or equivalent national-level exam clearance. Individuals seeking permanent employment should note this is a purely time-bound research project. Applicants expecting TA/DA for interviews will be disappointed as none will be provided.
