• For Counsellors:
  • Essential: Masters in Clinical Psychology / Social Work / MA Psychology or other related discipline; OR Bachelor in Psychology or Social Work with 2 years' experience in Mental Health Work (preferable counselling).
  • Preference: Masters in Clinical Psychology / Social Work / MA Psychology with experience in Mental Health care delivery and counselling.
• For Clinical Psychologists / Psychiatric Social Worker / Psychiatric Nursing:
  • Essential: First or second class M.A./M.Sc. degree in Psychology; OR First or Second class M.A/ M.S.W. degree in Medical Psychiatric Social Work; OR M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized institute as per Indian Nursing Council.
  • Preference: M. Phil in Clinical Psychology / M. Phil in Psychiatric Social Work / Ph.D.

Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates must submit their duly filled application form (API format), along with two passport-size coloured photographs and self-attested copies of all testimonials and certificates.

• Venue: Office of the Medical Superintendent, Modern Psychiatric Hospital, Narsingarh.

Walk-in-Interview Details:

• Date: 18th September 2026
• Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Registration closes at 1:00 PM)
• Venue: Modern Psychiatric Hospital, Narsingarh.
• Candidates must bring all original documents as submitted with the application form.

Required Documents for Submission (API format):

• Application form as per prescribed format (enclosed).
• One copy of recent Passport Size Colour Photograph.
• Self-attested softcopies of:
  • Qualification (mark sheets) from Madhyamik onwards till highest degree.
  • Valid Registration Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate (for reserved categories).
  • Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).
  • Age proof (Madhyamik Admit card / 10th Standard Board Admit Card).
  • Photo ID with address (Aadhar Card/Driving License/Voter ID).
  • No objection certificate, if applicable (for in-service candidates).
